In August of 2013, Hope for Home Ministries opened their first family-based group home for children with special needs in San Antonio Aguas Caliented, Guatemala. Named Hogar de la Esperanza (Hope Home) this ministry provides a loving and healing home for children with disabilities. Each child receives lots of love from a real family, top quality medical care, therapy and education while also learning of the love of Jesus Christ.
In April of 2017 we opened our second home, Hogar de la Esperanza II in response to a crisis created by the closing of a government run home that housed over 750 children.
Our eventual goal is to open 10 homes based on this family model that will care for over 100 children with special needs.
