For every child

who hopes for a home

Since international adoptions shut-down in January of 2008, the orphan care system in Guatemala has grown increasingly crowded. All the children have suffered, but none more than children with special needs. There are very few private organizations that are licensed and equipped to care for those with disabilities, so they are often relegated to state-run institutions with a very low quality of care.

In January 2011, Daryl and Wanda Fulp and their family moved to Guatemala to help address the orphan and special needs crisis. Using the dual approach of family based group homes and supporting the families of children with special needs, the ministry is slowly making an impact, having added two additional group homes and plans to add a home for adults with special needs..
