We met Oscar many years ago in the village of San Pablo La Laguna. He was picking avocados, and fell out of the tree, damaging his spinal column and confining him to a bed. When we met him, he had developed bad pressure sores, and although we tried to help nurse him back to health, he eventually succumbed to his injuries. He left behind a wife and three children. Manuela, his wife, works very hard to provide for the needs of her children, but it is difficult. We have been providing them with a food basket, but they lost their sponsor. We would like to continue to support them, but we need your help to be able to do so.
