Peter and Kristen Perez have been married for 32 years and are grateful parents of four children and grandparents to 4 boys. After decades rooted in Orange County, California—Peter running a business for over 20 years and Kristen serving as a Speech Pathologist for over 25 years—their lives shifted in 2012 when Peter’s first mission trip sparked a clear calling to serve God through missions. As Peter pursued missions studies at Liberty University and Calvary Chapel Bible College, they deepened their involvement at their church, helping launch and lead the Re|Engage marriage ministry and participating in several short-term trips to Mexico and Guatemala. In March 2020, they stepped out into full time ministry and by September 2021 they had moved to Guatemala full-time. They serve families, children, and churches while sharing the hope of Jesus, and Peter is excited to join Joshua Fulp and the Wheels of Hope rural ministry.
