Lazaro’s mother had a normal pregnancy, but her water broke at 7 months, and her baby was delivered by cesarean. Apparently, the baby had some type of bacterial infection that lead to a stroke and, ultimately, hydrocephalus. He was seizing several times a day, and needed medicine, but it was too expensive for his parents to afford. We were able to locate a sponsor for him to provide the meds, but a few months later, the neurologist decided he could be removed from the meds. He has gone several months without them, and his health remains in stable condition. His sponsor continued to provide diapers and milk for him, however, Lazaro recently lost his sponsor. We would like to continue to provide these things for him, but we need your help to be able to do so.
