Daryl and Wanda are the parents of 10 children, five of which are adopted. During the first of their three international adoptions, their eyes were opened to the critical needs of children without families in developing countries, which led them to leave behind their role as a pastoral couple and pursue orphan ministry. In August of 2008 they started Hope for Home Ministries and began leading ministry trips to Guatemala, working in an institution for persons with disabilities. As their hearts were more deeply broken for the children there, they realized that leading trips was not enough. In January of 2011 they moved to Guatemala with nine of their children and opened Asociación Ministerio de Esperanza, a licensed NGO that cares for children with special needs and seeks to address the systemic issues that cause special needs. Daryl serves as Director of both Hope for Home Ministries and Asociación Ministerio de Esperanza, and is very involved in our Wheels of Hope ministry. Wanda is the Director of Hogar de la Esperanza or Fulp Group Home, the largest of our children’s homes. Together, their greatest passion and joy is to make Jesus famous.
